In the same spirit as the Women's March, Parisians and expats set to protest Trump's recent flurry of executive orders.

In the two weeks since his inauguration (and the Women's March), President Trump has pushed many of his campaign promises forward at an alarming pace. Among them: his highly controversial proposals to build a wall along the border of Mexico and ban citizens from primarily Muslim countries from entering the States, have now taken the forefront. Outrage in the U.S. has already manifested in demonstrations across the country, where citizens have swarmed to occupy their cities' airports in a defiant show of solidarity with the many immigrants who call America home.

In keeping with the momentum of the global outreach of the Women's March, Paris will again partake in this movement with its own #NoBanNoWall march on Saturday, February 4th. Like last time, the march will step off from Place du Trocadéro at 2 p.m. and wind down toward École Militaire on the Left Bank. Demonstrators are encouraged to bring posters and loud voices. If you have pots and pans to spare, bring them too to make some noise.
