Start searching: Spring semester is coming to an end!

It's that point in the semester again where it's overwhelmingly busy, trying to find a balance between a social life, studying for finals while also searching for a killer internship. Are you ready to be the errand girl for a big fashion company like Anne Hathaway in the Devil Wears Prada?

Look no further, here is my top 10 list of sites to help you find a fashion internship:

1 | LinkedIn

First, make a LinkedIn account! It's a social networking site for business connections. Nowadays when you apply to an internship, they ask you for your LinkedIn account. I have personally connected with AUP alumni on this site. They have helped me contact different fashion brands for internship positions.

2 | Glassdoor

One of my favorites is Glassdoor. It's a site that advertises job openings, company reviews as well as employee reviews. Everything is there on the site, where you can click the job description and apply directly on the page. You can also save a job opening and apply later which makes it organized so you can keep track of all the companies you're applying to.

3 | Indeed

Would you like to be a personal shopper for high-end clients at Hermès? Or be an intern assistant at Karl Lagerfeld's office? These are just some of the job opportunities listed on Indeed! This site lists amazing fashion internship positions.

4 | Fashionista

Fashionista is where I go to find out the latest fashion news. On the site they also have an up-to-date internship section. Positions listed on the site are seeking fashion stylists, PR, sales, and showroom interns.

5 | FreeFashionInternship.com

FreeFashionInternship.com had me hooked when I saw my dream internship at CR Fashion book listed. I go on the site every day to see new openings with various fashion companies. They are offering summer '17 internships at Moschino, Tom Ford, Nylon magazine and many more amazing fashion brands!

6 | Fashion Workie

Looking for an internship in the UK?  Fashion Workie is a site that offers fashion intern positions only in London. I was interested in working in London and found this database to be very useful for my internship search. Some of the internships I applied to were with Glamour, Michael Kors and Vivienne Westwood's fashion brand!

7 | FashionUnited

FashionUnited focuses on American internships mainly located in Los Angeles and New York. A friend of mine who is a fashion student at Parson's told me about this site. She received an internship at Bottega Veneta and had a great experience.

8 | Ed2010

ED2010 concentrates more on social media and editorial internships at magazines and websites. This site lists positions like Vogue fashion closet assistant and Marie Claire summer features internship. So here is your perfect opportunity to have a real Devil Wears Prada experience!

9 | Fashion Company Websites

Some of these internship sites don't show everything offered within a company. Go on the fashion companies' contact page and reach out to their Careers department for any future intern positions.

10 | AUP Internship/Job Database

I received an internship with Altuzarra, thanks to the AUP database. You can find internships with Chanel,  Dior, Ralph Lauren,  IMG Models, Women's Wear Daily, etc. Take advantage of being an AUP student with this amazing database!
