Elegant Ocean by Ziad Nakad
Renowned Lebanese designer Ziad Nakad presented his S/S20 Haute couture collection at the InterContinental Paris during couture week in January. His collection is a shining example of how haute couture remains a strong creative force for the pret a porter collections which just ended this week in Paris.
Nakad united shimmer with ocean tones of green, gold and lavender, reminiscent of a reimagined mythical Atlantis, the name of his collection. His models strode down the runway with the elegance and strength of warrior queens as guests admired his rich tradition of gorgeous and intricate dresses.

The oceanic shades, evoking the calm elegance of waves made this show truly magical. Strong greens, soft whites, deep blues and coral pops of color were a main component of the collection.
