What you need to know before her talk at AUP.

We have a celebrity coming back to AUP, and it's none other than the amazing alumna Olivia Palermo. The New York-born fashionista attended AUP and since then, she's only gone up. I mean, what hasn't she done? This woman is the utmost representation of girl power. Here's all you need to know about her before you attend her virtual talk on Wednesday, April 14th.

Olivia participated in the reality show The City, which documented the life of New York socialites and their lifestyles. After that, her perfect fashion style was noticed and she became a fashion icon. She started her blog and had social media presence and became a perfect representation of how to mix high fashion brands such as Burberry or Louboutin, with low-cost fashion like Zara or Topshop. She then became the "it girl" for all the front rows for the best shows and attended the best galas.

She started her career as a stylist, model, and ambassador of brands like Banana Republic, Tommy Hilfiger, Nordstrom, Rochas, and Piaget. In 2009 she signed with the famous talent agency Wilhelmina to build her personal brand and website 2011 which started her first collaborations in fashion.

After her rise in fashion, she created her own fashion brand and website. She had appearances in Project Runway and MTV.

She is the founder and CEO of Olivia Palermo Group which a modern lifestyle company that partners with brands in a creative direction. The group and website encompass creative direction, lifestyle, and fashion. The group has collaborated with brands like Aquazurra and Stuart Weitzman and she is the designer of the Olivia Palermo Collection.

Olivia Palermo is a businesswoman, she has a unique style and has been inspiring girls, boys, and young women for a long time. She was the first blogger I followed on Instagram and has since then been a source of inspiration in life, fashion, and business.
