The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2017

Once a year, the famous lingerie company Victoria's Secret brings together what can be referred to as a unique, full-on extravaganza catwalk. According to Harper's Bazaar, 800 million people tune in annually to watch the beautiful angels walk in one of the most important fashion events of the year. Every year the show takes place at a different location, from Los Angeles to New York, and from London to Paris, and so this year the breathtaking show will take place in Shanghai, China November 21 and will be broadcast to the world at 10 PM EST November 28 on CBS.

In regards to the models, Insider notes that we can, of course, expect the 13 official Angels: Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Candice Swanepoel, Lily Aldridge, Elsa Hosk, Josephine Skriver, Sara Sampaio, Martha Hunt, Stella Maxwell, Lais Ribeiro, Jasmine Tookes, Romee Strijd, and Taylor Hill. Also, Karlie Kloss and Bella Hadid will be returning. In the end, 61 models made the cut.

With a specific theme, each year the costumes worn by each model trigger a huge impact on the public. The wings, the heels, and lingerie form playful outfits. This year, there will be a significant difference as the brand decided to do a collaboration with French brand Balmain. According to Harper's Bazaar, this is the first-time VS has teamed up with a “high-fashion brand."

The most important piece in the show is the Fantasy Bra, and according to Daily News, it took more than 350 hours to create this year's $2 million bra which is encrusted with diamonds, yellow sapphires, and blue topaz. It was revealed that Brazilian beauty Lais Ribeiro (video below) will sport this year's Fantasy Bra.  

Since this is one of the most significant fashion events of the year, top artists get together to perform while the models strut the lingerie with their long legs down the catwalk. In the past couple of years, the show has hosted artists such as Selena Gomez, Lady Gaga, The Weeknd, and Rihanna, while this year the official music guests are Harry Styles, Miguel, Jane Zhang, and Leslie Odom JR.
