Paris Fashion Week: Street Style

By Kateryna Koss
Street style highlights from outside of John Galliano Autumn/Winter 2016, held in Paris on March 6.

Walking down the street on an early March day in Paris, you'll notice right away the frenzied fashion week ambiance. Yet on this Sunday afternoon in the 17th arrondissement, things felt different: just around a cozy corner near the John Galliano Autumn/Winter 2016 show, at the Lycée Carnot, I saw a few stylish bloggers quietly chatting with one another, exchanging thoughts on this season's fashion trends.

About 20 minutes before the show started, I met the lovely fashionista Adriana Matei, a guest at Galliano. Matei is a Romanian fashion PR professional. After graduating from the Faculty of Journalism and Communication Sciences at the University of Bucharest, she quickly realized that her passions lay within fashion. That day, she launched her own men's leather goods brand, Morpho.

I then met Kenya Kinski-Jones, a model from Los Angeles who attracted the eyes of many with her style and charisma.

After the show, I was able to speak with one of the runway models before she rushed out of the venue onto the Paris streets. I snapped photos of her natural makeup and simple style.

It was another beautiful Parisian day, full of sunshine and fashion.
