Learn About Women's Empowerment at AUP's Newest Club

Join the K'antu Club for jewelry, popcorn and a movie on women's empowerment.

The brand-new K'antu Club is hosting a movie night in the Combes building, room 101, on Wednesday, November 16th beginning at 6:30PM. Come to watch the film He Named Me Malala, and learn about women's empowerment. Also, you will get the chance to put your name on a list to pre-order one of the club's bracelets.

K'antu represents an NGO for women's empowerment. They sell bracelets that are hand-made by artisan mothers in Chawaytiri, Peru and all the proceeds from bracelet sales go into a scholarship fund for the mother's children.

So, if you want to help educate future college students while learning something for yourself, join K'antu for the movie next week.

Still not sure about going? There will be wine and free popcorn.
