It’s time to break out your best green attire to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. This is a Catholic holiday celebrating the memory of the patron of Ireland Saint Patrick for bringing Christianity to Ireland. Today, it is a time to spend with friends and celebrate Irish culture around the world– even in Paris!

Here are some fun things to do around the city:

Irish Folk concert at The Irish Cultural Centre

If don't want to spend a lot of money but would still like to have a low key cultural experience take a look at The Irish Cultural Centre in Paris, where you can enjoy a double concert from Irish groups Lynched, with a repertoire ranging from humorous Dublin music-hall ditties and street-songs to classic ballads, and The Henry Girls, presenting a blend classic traditional Irish tunes with a hint of Americana and pinch of bluegrass. The price is 15€/12€ with a valid student card.  Reserve tickets here

Free concert at Jardins du Luxembourg

If you aren't able to come to the concert on March 17, The Irish Cultural Center is also hosting a free concert in the Jardins du Luxembourg on Sunday, March 20. The globally renowned traditional Irish folk group Téada will be performing, followed by Lulu’s World & The Tallest Smallest Circus in the courtyard with Irish food and drink available for purchase. More info
