Hungry? Eat Cheap (and Well) at Paris's Street Food Temple

The Temple at last year's street food event
With free concerts, exhibitions and drinks, this year's food truck festival is a must visit this weekend.

This weekend, you can visit the second “Street Food Temple” event for a taste of Paris’ best street food creations in a lively backdrop of free live concerts, exhibitions, and of course, drinks (not free). In an ongoing effort with the Année France-Coréen, South Korea will be put in the spotlight with the installation of jujeom (a specialty South Korean pop-up bar), and traditional foods like kimbab, kimchi, and hottoek cupbab.

Live DJ sets will also have a chance to showcase the best of the current Korean electronic scene (which you might have heard on the “SÉOUL BAM” car at Techno Parade last week). On top of the food and music, the venue will be host to movie screenings, workshops, performances, and art installations.

If all that sounds tempting, check out this short clip of what last year's street food event looked like.

Did that video just make street food part of your official weekend plans? Luckily for you, I've got all the info right here.

When. Friday, September 25 — 6pm to 11pm.

Saturday, Septmber 26 — 11am to 11pm.

Sunday, September 27  11am to 9pm.

Where. Le Carreau du Temple — 4 rue Eugène Spuller, 75003 Paris

It's completely free to enter and just listen to the music or take in some art (but why?). You'll have to pay for the food and drinks but it will be well worth it.
