Experiencing the Morozov Collection

By

With the ever-changing art exhibitions in and around Paris, the spectacular Morozov Collection at the Louis Vuitton Fondation is a must see! The exhibition, honoring Ivan and Mikhail Morozov, opened in September 2021; and runs until April 3rd.

The Russian brothers were famous collectors of modern French, Russian, and Western art and the exhibition follows the life of the two brothers as they begin a beautiful relationship with collecting art. It is the first time this exhibit has been available anywhere outside of Russia so it might be a once in a lifetime experience for some.

Early Spring Break Signals Long Post-Break Semester

By

AUP students and faculty are frustrated with the early scheduling of spring break, saying it puts midterm exams too early in the semester, places extra stress on students and faculty in the second half of the semester, and doesn't come at a time when the weather is opportune for spring activities.

However, AUP does not follow an American break system, which results in the lack of a Thanksgiving break in the fall, and an abnormally early spring break that does not correspond with any school, but one, in the continental U.S.

Students Return to Campus to find Beloved Amex Terrace Closed

By

With cases of  COVID-19's Omicron variant rising globally, AUP has made the decision to close the Amex terrace despite the absence of French government guidelines causing many students to be confused.

Students say that this decision has made a negative impact on the AUP community. The Amex is an environment where students socialize, leaving transfer and study abroad students under inadequate circumstances to meet new people at AUP.
