Don't worry, we're not selling you snake oil.

It's crunch time for finals and you need a boost to your brain function. The answer? Coconut Oil! Different oils have a multitude of positive health effects, so here's a list of five different oils and the benefits that they have on your body to help you get through life and all its troubles.

Coconut Oil

Made up from 3 acids: caprylic acid, lauric acid and capric acid, the fatty acids in this oil have tremendous benefits not many people know of. All of this has been proven by medical research to boot:

It comes from the castor seeds, Ricinus Communis, which is an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant. This oil is a triglyceride, comprised of fatty acids. It's composed of 90% ricinoleic acid, which is helpful in a multitude of ways.
