Try sending letters to friends and loved ones. What’s more exciting than receiving mail that is not a bill! Try visiting your local papeterie and browsing fun pens, papers, postcards, and envelopes! If you find something that you like sending a letter to a loved one can be a gesture they would appreciate, and incredibly rewarding. This fun activity starts at 2.32 euros which is just the cost of a stamp.

Another fun idea project you could learn is crochet, knitting, and embroidery. Not only can you design accessories or clothing for yourself, but this activity can be done anywhere and it beats scrolling mindlessly through your phone when you are bored. There are plenty of yarn stores throughout Paris which sell needles and yarn, but these objects can also be found online.

With all the time being spent at home, it might be the perfect time to become a botanist in your own home. Creating an herb garden, growing a plant from seed to sprout, or even studying what plant might fit your apartment best. It may be a process of trial and error but what better time to watch your baby plant flourish. If you travel a lot and are bad about remembering to water, maybe try a cactus. If you can afford to water a plant once a week, try tending to a Ficus. There are so many options when it comes to houseplants and their benefits. If you are unsure about which houseplant is right for you, check out this quiz!
