Save money. Travel better. Walmart.

In a country spanning 3,537,436 square miles, it can be a daunting task to choose a vacation spot. You'd likely look for a place with renowned attractions, unique restaurants or a fun atmosphere that can offer you a glimpse into what the country as a whole is like. Unfortunately, there are a lot of places in the United States that fit the bill, complicating the task of deciding on a place. Fortunately, there is a hub of American culture with over 3,500 locations in the country. The one-stop American adventure: available only at Walmart.

Walmart Supercenters are the epitome of the one-stop shop. In shelf displays that (presumably unintentionally) juxtapose the two most unlike objects, a stroll through the store is comical, to say the least. This interior design highlights the unpredictability of the average American. Beyond the unique layout, the store is a guide to what American interests are. The store is a sprawling plain with displays erected and stacked high with every item imaginable. The endless aisles seem to challenge one to search for an item they won't find within the store, knowing the shopper won't succeed. With products ranging from groceries to clothing, to technology, to home and garden, to arts and crafts and beyond, the store appeals to any American walking through their doors.

Beyond standard shopping finds, Walmart offers a premium experience to shoppers looking to get something a little more special. In a jewelry department, shoppers looking to "Save money. Live better." can pick out a bridal ring for their special someone. The stones beautifully reflect the flickering fluorescent lights mounted above, a gleam likely to be replicated in the eyes of the lucky lady upon the proposal. Living glamorously doesn't end there for the shopper. After visiting the register nearest the jeweler, shoppers end their transaction and the line leads directly to a hair salon. With a new cut as satisfying as the ring, shoppers are sure to leave satisfied.

Walmart would be an incomplete representation of the United States without appealing to the youth. If there's one thing American kids love, it's getting a pet. If there's one thing American parents love, it's finding low-maintenance alternatives. For the more adventurous, there is live bait for sale by the guns and camping equipment which they can then take to catch a fish of their own. For the less enthusiastic, there is a door to the outdoor garden section just next to the fish tank where one may find a decorative rock or house plant.

Echoing every American's favorite infomercial phrase, Walmart's hidden corners scream "But wait! There's More!" Shoppers are able to cross off item after item off of their to-do list. They have the opportunity to switch their tires in the rear of the store. In the front, shoppers can get an eyeglass prescription at the Walmart Vision Center. Shoppers can find bankers adjacent to the vision center available for help with filing taxes. Checking all of these boxes off of a to-do list is sure to induce hunger. Luckily, there is a Subway sandwich shop just by the exit.

Coupons, convenience, and character. All can be found in a Walmart store. Walmart is one small store with one grand experience for anyone looking for a taste of American life.
