Shop The Sprezzatura
As one of the most iconic fashion capitals in the world, Paris is bursting with lively, local shops that satiate every fashion lover's appetite. Slowly, but surely, Parisians have willingly embraced the new wave of fashion and how consumers access it. Now the city is spotted with notable—and, might I add, perfectly Instagrammable—concept stores, like Merci and Colette. Relatively new to the game, The Sprezzatura (located in the vivacious neighborhood of Le Marais) is taking the way we shop to the next level.
Who are they?
The Sprezzatura was founded as a small online store back in 2013 with a big dream in mind. Then, the budding store only carried two ready-to-wear and three accessories brands. Now, four years later, the store curates over 15 ready-to-wear labels. Carrying young and emerging designers, The Sprezzatura promotes "creative stimulation and growth" in the fashion community. With Sprezzatura meaning "studied nonchalance: graceful conduct or performance without apparent effort," according to the website, the store itself evokes the effortlessness the name embodies.

To seek and present contemporary and advanced contemporary designers, working with them as they transform into thriving brands.

What to expect?
Expect nothing other than a unique and trendy atmosphere surrounded by a knowledgeable, passionate, unpretentious (and English-speaking!) staff. The store is filled to the brim with niche, underground designers. These exclusive designers hail from around the globe, from places like China, South Korea, Russia, London, and New York City. Don't just expect a myriad of impressive garments; expect a wide variety of prized indie magazine labels (from Dazed to AnOther to FirstLove), marvelously fragrant candles, and even a wardrobe-specific detergent line. However, if you find yourself experiencing some sensory overload, take a seat in the cafe area of the store. Kick back, enjoy a matcha latte, a gluten-free treat, and flip through one of the readily available magazines.

Who do they carry?
The Sprezzatura has carefully selected a handful of exclusive designers who have greatly developed since partnering with the store. More specifically, they carry Marques Almeida (who won the LVMH prize in 2015), AWAKE by Natalia Alaverdyan, Wanda Nylon (winner of the ANDAM fashion award in 2016), LNDR, and Rokh—just to name a few.
