Taste the world with AUP's annual gastronomic ritual.

There is no better way to understand another culture than through its food. The 2017 AUP's World's Fair is exactly the event where the community will be able to encounter and develop a deeper understanding of new cultures through food. A university made up of students from 110 nationalities speaking 65 different languages, the fair will definitely be a melting pot of various cultures and extraordinary cuisines.

This fair provides students with a platform to share an array of their countries' cuisines and at the same time educate the community about their respective cultures. This is a delectable chance for everyone to learn about each other's culture. Last year's World's Fair was a great success and this year, fair coordinator as well as AUP's Sophomore Class Representative, Francesca Coyne managed to pull together 20 or more countries' student representatives to be present during the fair. From Bulgaria to Ukraine and Egypt to the Netherlands, there is a lot to anticipate for this year's fair.

For this World's Fair, visitors will be given a passport to be checked off for every countries' cuisine that they tried. Francesca Coyne is the fair coordinator and she is very enthusiastic "to see it all coming together." Tickets will be available at the door on the day of the fair as well as online with a minimum entrance of €5. This event is open to outside guests as well as long as they sign up online in advance. If you would like to be a part of this festive gastronomic event, be sure to mark your calendar.
