Maintaining Your Sanity at AUP in The Wellness Room

Feeling stressed? Need a break from classes and studying? Want a peaceful place to gather your thoughts? Head over to AUP's very own Wellness Room! 

Starting a new school year is filled with excitement—catching up with old friends after the summer, making new friends, meeting your new professors, getting adjusted to your new classes. That excitement can quickly turn to stress when midterms roll around in what seems to be the blink of an eye.

Through all the excitement (and later stress) of the new school year, it’s so important for us, as college students, to take care of our well-being. Most of us get lost in our daily lives and routines and before we know it the day is over. But, luckily for us as AUP students, the Wellness Room is a space for us to take some time out of our busy days for ourselves. One of the Wellness Room coordinators, Professor Sian Dafydd said, “every term we have this dedicated space to wellness, we hope to increase the number of events for students and by students - we really welcome ideas. Step by step, this can be a really valuable resource to help so many students live their University years with more focus, more peace of mind and more contentment."

When? Tuesday 15:30-16:00, Wednesday 13:00-13:30, Thursday 16:00-16:30
