Coming Up: Discussing Elon Musk

On Wednesday, November 22,  International Business Administration Professor Rene Ryman will be hosting the second talk centering around Elon Musk. Musk is best known as the CEO and CTO of SpaceX and product architect of Tesla. This year, her second year at AUP, Ryman is running the Spotlight on Leadership forums to “help students learn about the history and different experiences that have lead business leaders to great success in their careers and organizations.”

According to Ryman, it is equally as important to study the failures that lead to the success of leaders, which ultimately contribute to their strength.

“I believe that students should attend the forums because they will learn about the leader on a more down-to-earth relatable level - it might be the first time we get to look at these leaders as real people."

Ryman continued "...-That is where we can see how their efforts have paid off and how others who work hard with a high level of dedications can reach their goals as well.” Even if you are not a business student, it is an interesting event for all to attend to learn about Elon Musk. During the first session, the biography, Elon Musk was assigned to prepare for his second session, but don't let that discourage you from attending.
