Celine was raised in California (the foggy part). She is completing her masters in gastronomy and communications from Boston University where her focus has been on culinary diplomacy and sensorial experiences. In 2018, she won a Julia Child Scholarship Award for written excellence for a paper exploring the neologism ‘hanger’ and its gendered representation on social media. She’s spending a semester abroad at The American University of Paris to further develop her journalist skills. Having previously worked in video and podcast production for a culinary media company, post-graduation she hopes to work on documentaries that explore the intersection of food, culture and politics.
